Just won this on ebay for £380 anyone seen it about in the milton keynes area?? its a 2.0 8v. Do they go well compared to a 16v?? cheers!!

The drivers door is a bit rotten but tbh its a strong old shell with only some minor surface rust. And yes the 8vs do go well, I was not far off a focus rs the other day.

Nice one, tbh the shell was pretty good so the main thing to check is the quality of the conversion.
I was going to sell it to a mate of mine and he wanted to go euro with it as well! Hope to see some pictures of it later mate.

The guy I bought it from was a bit funny though, he came out with some story that he wanted to put a redtop in it and run it rwd by using a vitara back axle!? I wasn't bothered really, just needed the money lol

picked the beast up last night in the end for £300!! she goes really well lol, needed some bits doing 2 front tyres alternaotr belt adjusting and the wipers didnt work!! the o/s front damper is fooked and knocks like a gooden!! well pleased!

Nice one, the wipers were working when I had it although it badly needed new blades! Whats the spec on it? I put my mates old std gte suspension on it as the original ones were fooked, when I had it there was a wobbling like sound from the o's front which was play in one of the ball joints. Other than that it a good litle motor.

You got any pics up yet? What is the conversion done like?

ive put a rs turbo stainless backbox on it today sounds loud lol but im not sure if its staying 100% the conversion is not to bad - no anti roll bar home made mounts - foookin solid lol and a home made adjustable strut brace welded to the strut tops?? :S will get pics the weekend!! :D
