hi all and welcome to my first project got a 1.6 which i bought of $ass (cheers mate) which i am going to eventually put a 2ltr red top in. put pictures up later :thumb:

started taking all the carpets out getting it ready for a cavalier internal shifter my mate with grinder (gibbo0450)

i saw this for sale last week, sounded like a bargain iirc. what plans have you got? looks like its going to be a decent project!

just lowered 60m it already looks as if the engine bay has been seam welded will have a proper look when i get the engine out. got a 2.0ltr red top engine coming soon so that will be fitted when i get the strengthening kit fitted etc

after cuting all the gear out ect we welderd a plate in.some pics will need cleaning up

well got some time today so took the engine out and started seam welding the rest of the engine

looks like some one tried bashing it down or knocked it im going to try and knock it back up or just remove it completly :thumb:
