I dont have my haynes manual to hand but I think they hold around 2l.

1.5l acording to the nova handbook.mind you thats for a mk1 bottle,not sure what there like on mk2

Same for both Mk1 and Mk2. Only different bottle is the saloon/poverty spec one but I think thats the same capacity, just has a single output pump on it.

Saloon/pov spec bottles are shorter, more of a cube shape, at least it was on my 1989 2-door.
