hi folks,
finally got the nova running, only problem is there is too much fuel going to the carb and it starts coming out of the top!!!!!!
the car is a 1.4 and the carb is a weber 32/34, what do you suggest? can anyone advise on adjusting the floats, or does it need something like a fuel pressure regulator? its using a mechanical pump by the way.

Your float level sounds all over the place, have you had it in bits?

You would be best of sending it to a carb specialist,i did the same thing to my 32/34,took it apart to clean it and put it back together and it flooded like a bastad.I took mine to bogg brothers and he sorted it all out,new jets clean and gaskets etc for £20

20 quid doesnt sound too bad, did you send the whole car or just the carb? just as long as i know i dont need a pressure regulator or fuel return or something like that before i send it off. also on the info i got with the carb it says the float level needs to be 8mm +/- 0.25mm, anyone know which part of the float to take this measurement from and too?
