check out local scrapyards in corsas astras etc pretty sure 1.2, 1.4 map sensors are same. would cost you pennys to buy.

i live in channel islands in guernsey which is a small island about the size of your local scrappies!

I know its only £30 but i didnt even pay that for the car just to keep it going really till it goes poop. will pm you tomorrow chap thanks.

That would be very much appreciated, only if your around that area tho mate! ill pm you tomorrow see how you get on, how much will you want for it too before you go hunting lol

If the 1.4 item is the same, just cover postage, if i have to get it from the scrappy, problery the same. Got to head up there somtime anyways.

dude corsa 1.6 and astras etc ust the same one, some reno clios have em aswell!

Thanks mate your correct a few reanult's do use them infact quite a few manufactures use them, but since i live on such a small island it is difficult to get hold of them for next to nothing. As any abandoned or broken/knackered cars get recycled as soon as get to scrappies so no second hand parts:(

I am hunting round for one tho just on the off chance.
