Corsa 1.0 12v:

WTF is the random plastic box for thats attached to the airfilter housing? It does nothing! Nothing at all!!

I removed it and the drive is noticably better at 30-50mph?! Acually, i removed quite a few useless parts off said Corsa engine and it drives a lot better lo lol

Yep :D

BUT.....

A result of todays mincing has cured the gearbox oil leak (turret gasket replaced) AND its mighty 32mm Dia Throttle body is now a lot cleaner then it was, throttle cable isnt slack anymore either :D

Good point lol

lol best £200 I ever spent lol

Although, not all the elec stuff works anymore lol I KO'd the pass side elec mirror at 50mph so its a little fubar lol the engine management light has been on for the last 4k miles and it has drift mod steering AND still wears 3 alloys & steelie (trademark of all my work hacks - ala "van of death").

were we driving down the wrekin at the time???????

As its was a sat nav, it must be right..... thats why people get directed onto rail lines, into rivers, or my favourite, into the largest granite quarry in europe (Lafarge's quarry near Lougborough) cos the road went thru it in 1900.....

satnavs are not that accurate, or the police would use them to clock speeders.... they don't

True true, but when the cars clocks were reading around 95mph, id rather put faith into the electronic thingy with a funny accent lol

its a resonator box, apparently they get a strange vibration without it, but i've never heard it. de cat the bugger and they go even better, and fit a corsa c 1.2 maf. bigger bore etc.
