Just fitted a new handbrake cable and its as if the cable is too long, fully adjusted up and its still goes up millions clicks and doesnt even begin to pull the cable.
Is there just the one locating hole by where the lever/cable meet or is there another mounting point??

There are a few combinations that work for different people. I think you need the cav short cable with a bit of threaded bar welded on the end to meet the adjuster.

ahhhh know for any other combinations as cable before i snapped it didnt have anything welded on it
Its a nova long cable (to passenger side), and mk2 cav estate short cable.
I used a normal mk2 cav 1600 cable but benn on here found that using the estate cable you wont have to extend the threaded bar.
