i have recently bought an aftermarket oil pressure guage for my gte engined nova sr. just wondering where to locate the sender unit. cheers

the sender is on the drivers side back corner. looking from under the car its visible just above the sump.

cheers mate, has it got a bolt in it to remove and is it 1/8th NPT thread. sorry new to the game

do i replace the unit with the two lugs or the one with the existing cable attatched?

Idealy you wanna keep the origional oil pressure sensor (thats what gives you the warning light on the dash), and also run the aftermarket, unsure where to fit the new sensor tho ?

right, you've got me proper confused.

1. a gte engine has a combined oil light switch/oil pressure sender as standard.
2. an sr has an oil pressure gauge as standard.....

thus.. you shouldn't need one at all.....
