erm well, currently i am a project manager on a massive ecohome with a few more to do in the pipeline. BUT until this one kicks off and since july i have been occupying myself doing odds and sods and generating work for myself on the land it is to be built within, and since mid december i have been paid to work on my project/rebuild the boss's landy lol lol

The joys of working direct for the client i suppose, sounds cushty but it truly isnt, after 17 years of towing the line and grafting/pushing myself hard for a living, i am finding this hard to cope with mentally more than anything. but its one of those things where you know the direction you are going in, just the ride is abit slow at the start

Im a valeter by trade but ive done an NVQ Level2 in motor vehicle engineering, and am currently being trained in the parts dept for a local renault mainstealers, also double as a multi-drop parts driver.

Atm though as were making redundancies all the remaining staff are covering other jobs so im the bum that gets they joyous job of cleaning the sales pitch cars every morning hmmm.....

I R also job hunting as i know my redundancy is fast approaching :cry:

I work in a factory making windows,im a window fitter by trade but no jobs going doing that round here so its factory instead.The pay is utter garbage to what im used to,its a soul destroying environment to work in and its the same sh1t different day.Same bitching going on by the same fukktards every day.
We are currently doing 30hour weeks because its so quiet.So my current wageslips come in handy as spare bog roll.
On the bright side i am in employment (just..) and earn a wage even if it is only just above minimum wage.I feel for those who have been made redundant,i have been layed off from 3 jobs this last 12 months prior to this one.The benefits are really hard to get aswell.

Im a shift mechanic for stagecoach. Job mainly envolves going out to busses that have run out of fuel late at night or broken down. I also get to drive a big recovery truck to tow busses back to depot. Sometime i do some hard work but not oftern!
Im safe in the knowlege that my job is safe as they need a certain amaount of staff to correspond with the requirements of the opperators licence.

well atm i got 2 jobs! in the week i am an aircraft mechanic/ safety equiptment engineer for big company based at stansted airport! and at weekends i work at a rally school as a mechanic/ rally driver instructor!

i also used to be a doorman and trained as a car mechanic! and used to put up marquees at big gigs and music events (did 1 for wiley and kano once) and met the men them selfs! lol
