hey, got a slight problem.

when ma nova starts the revs sit on bout 1100 (happy with this) however when the engine begins to heat it will slowly riseto around 2000 rpm. or it will dip all the time. am i suffering from the shitty pierburg carb disease or is it something else??

Mate my car does the same, I fitted a second hand poerburg coz the automatic choke was bolloxed. You fire her up and she sits at 1000rpm then after a couple of mins it revs its tits off at 2000rpm but only for 1minute and then once you blip the throttle hard it goes back down to 1000rpm.

Has it always done this or is it playing silly buggers?

i only got the car bout 2month ago but its always done it since then.

it used to dip below 1000rpm and sumtimes cut out but i added a fuel line cleaner and it sorted that.
