IIRC it will tell you on top of the ecu. The reason why I ask as these engines are a little harder to get hold of. :thumb:

it is more likely to be a digi then a kjet mate as they were usually in the early big bumper models!

digipants will have an ecu under the scuttle panel (where a nova battery would go) a k-jet has loads of pipes off the top of the airbox iirc, no ecu as its mechanical injection.

also, digipants was intruduced for the 89> model (90's spec) so if its an early it'll be k-jet

very nice- sorry to steal your thread, its just ive always wanted a mk2 big bumper 16v but wondered do they have the really high biting clutch and ****e brakes like the mk3? or are these drivable?

mk2s have proper brakes unlike the mk3 mate but the clutches usualy bit quite high mate! i had a few and the are realy good cars and the onlythings that go wrong with them are the tiny lil things lol

and by the way mate what is the milage on the car?
