Just refurbish a 2nd hand one man. IMO nowhere will make copy rear beams to OEM spec.

they dont rot, but look at g8wcc's wip, he's used an astra mk4 beam, newer and easier to get.

Get your original one stripped and sand blasted, then powder coated. Pics of your mint mk2 please.

Well Thats the Thing, had really bad Icy weather down near the coast and well i know i shouldnt of drove, but i spun up and side slid into a nerby curb, only doing about 20mph. this knocked my wheel inwards (Positive Camber??) only but 8 Degress or so. And i belive its bent right end of the beam. Im running Spax RSX's and Slabs and both the wheel and Arm itself seem fine. so im guessing its bent. A Friend of mine suggested taking the wheel of and bending it back. but surely thats a bodge.

Cheers
Josh

(Will get pics up in the light)

Will this be bolt on to nova?

/\ i cant seeing so, as surely an Astra has a wider track than a Nova?

DTR-DEVIL, bending back the hub mounting may weaken the beam. You should be able to find someone breaking a nova on here, buy a replacement.

you'll be amazed at how much you can bend an axle ! but it's just as easy to bolt a replacemet one onto a nova, as has been said get youself a half tidy one and strip it, shotblast and powdercoat, will look as new !

I would have thought an astra would have a wider track but it was mentioned in that build thread and i with other asked about it, apparently theyre not too hard to mod but it wasnt made clear how to "mod" one to fit!

cut and shut FTW?? lol

Hmmm, possibly lol but looking at the fabrication skill on the rest of the shell being used it would either be A, perfect workmanship, or B, move the mounts on the car itself but unless they tell us then we may not know!

You'll eaisly be able to send a nova axle mate ! At work we send out Axles such as Peugot 206, Citroen saxo etc with such couriers as ANC and Fastway no problem ! theyre a damn sight heavier than a Nova one !

None of the mk1's I've had have suffered from rotten rear beams, maybe it's just a mk2 thing?

I have bent a couple on a 2-door loon though, through losing the back end on corners!
