Thought i'd do my own project thread since i'm on here reading every1 elses all the time. I bought a mk1 nova fling off ebay a couple of weeks ago it has 30,000 miles with full service history, here's how it sat wen i first bought it.

The next day i took off the standard suspesion and replaced it with a full g-max kit -60mm, changed the lorry sized steering wheel 4 a much smaller mountey wheel and gave my engine bay a quick clean, here's how it sits 2day.

Looks like a decent shell mate, looks pretty cool decked on standard wheels. Although I hope you will be changing the suspension for the conversion? gmax + 2.0 conversion = dangerous!

How much did the powder coating cost?

How much is it lowered ?

nova-saloon
28-02-09, 07:25 PM
Think its lowered by 60mm vaughan, not sure though just old shocks and springs i had in my garage.

Gave my car a polish today since its the first day i've had off work for weeks. I've just ordered some clear indicators and side repeaters, will put more pics up when they're on.

Well i decided to make a start on the nova earlier as my insurance ran out last nite. So first thing this morning we had to get my mates 205 stripped and ready for the scrappy so i've got more room to do the nova.

Some pictures of the 205 and my novas new home the next few months.

Thought i'd post a few pics of my other on going project. It needs a hell of a lot of welding on the underside and a few lil bits sorting to make it road worthy, the paint job was done about 7 years ago and still looks good:)

Back in the day I had my engine bay resprayed (well sort of) with rattle cans as well. Now, as years have progressed, I wished I'd done some proper rust proofing. Get yours sorted as well - the shell looks too nice to just run it into the ground. Like the retro badge btw! :)
