Sorting linkage on a cavi redtop?

another question lol, how do i sort my linkage out as i didnt mark it when i took the box out?? im running an f16?? please help!!

stick a 5.5mm? drill bit in the box (as shown by haynes manual) , slide the linkage over so that it goes in firther and locks the gear selctor, get a mate to hold the stick by the reverse canal then do the bolt up. best way, dont know if the haynes tells you to do it like that lol

cheers mate so the cavi and nova are the same? i have a nova haynes manual but im new to the cav and never done a xe conversion before lol :thumb:
