hi, this is my mates w reg corsa sport thats been converted with a genuine astra gsi c18xe. the engine had a full freshen up rebuild before it was fitted, new headgasket and bolts, clutch kit, and waterpump and timing belt. it has the std corsa cat and centre section, with a scorpion backbox. the gearbox is a daewoo f16wr, which is a 1998 made box. basically the same as the gm ones, just less miles. converted using chris astley mounts, and corsa gsi shafts, with cavalier mk2 inner cv's. the car has cavalier v6 front calipers, with new pads and alfa romeo disks. it stops on a sixpence! rear brakes were checked and adjusted when the conversion was done 2000 miles ago. the cars shell has all the usual sport refinements, i.e sport trim pas etc. very good condition, a few small blemishes and dings but it is a 10 year old car! the current owner is a mechanic, and all the work done is by him. it had an oil and filter last week. its a rare conversion, and a very quick car. the car has 68 kon it and we were told the engine had 72k but we have no way of proving this, but when the head was off there is very little bore wear. and coking.

he's after £900. im not 100% on tax or mot but it does have some on it! its cheap to insure aswell being the 1.8. it would make a great track car or daily driver. the car is located 6 miles from bridlington

i hope so, he wants a zlet in if it dont go, and muggins here has been nominated to do it..... it would make an excellent track car as it has the brakes and it handles ace.
