can the waterpipe on a KS700 head be replaced? mine is a bit . . . at the end of its life:wtf:.
Not sure how to remove these things (besides hammering).

Pretty sure you can get replacements from Vauxhall.
By the looks of it you'd be able to squash in 1/2 pretty easily so getting it out shouldn't be a prob, i'd imagine you'd just heat the head up (around the hole) stick the new bit of pipe in the freezer for a while then just press (hammer) it in .... could also remove it that way, heat the head then use some of that freeze spray stuff on the pipe, then just pull it out.

fit a bolt into pipe then lock visegrips on it and twist it out, use a bit of wd-40 aswell

If that is the heater connecton the part number is 90410704

you could try using a huge ass stud extractor tap.. I used a bigun to remove the locator dowels from the 8V head
