Went up to see Lee H and lend a hand fitting his cage back into his nova after i had had it powder coated satin black. Its a stunning car and i think he needs to stop mincing around and start using it properly!

Managed to get the cage back in after much cursing as it did not want to go in because of the seat rails.

Nuts out so to speak lol
top mincing rick/lee, luverlee car!
Nuts out so to speak lol
Cool cool, right way then.
I know its not being used for competition purposes, but FIA rules say that the bolts must point downwards, so that if the nuts do work loose/snap, then the bolt will still locate the cage by being through the hole.

Looks superb in Riggy's photos, 40 profile tyres make such a differance to the stance!

mmm, not seen them on a black GSI or black nova infact, I left the vinyl of mine as I wasn't sure if it'd go with it, pic time folks...
Would look good with the red bumper tape imo :)

I think the all clears look good! But a set of all reds would look even better.
Iv been keeping my eyes on german ebay for a set but none been on in a while.
Lee, if your ever down my way ive got a set of proper original all red's you could try on it ;)
Thanks for the kind comments everyone, really appreciate it.
Clear rear lights are the first thing I fitted to the car when I got it about 8 years ago so sort of grown attached to them now.
Still a few more bits to sort, have changed front calipers to Cav turbo ones over weekend to try and get a better pedal and I want to get the boot vinyl fitted at some point but thats pretty much it then.
I agree, keep the rear lights. The car looks great! :thumb:
