New Engine

Im Wondering If it would be possible to drop a 1.6 GTE or GSI into a 1998 Daewoo Lanos Shell, Ive Heard the mounts are similar but has any one got any idea which loom i would use?

As with any engine conversion, you use the loom from the donor engine :thumb: why you'd want to waste your time on a Lanos though is anyones guess...

the lanos is just a mk2/3 astra iirc, drop a let in for ultimate sleeper.

I'd have thought an 20XE would have been better, i've seen a few XE/LET Daewoo Nexia's done so i don't see why a Lanos would be different (assuming it still using GM type engines)

what bhp would you get out of a c20xe? because it sounds more intresting. And if im gonna do a conversion i may aswel do it right lol

stock are about 150, then with carbs/tb's your at about 180-200
