Cool louvres bonnet - original GM bonnet with cossie style lovres on the side and a venting grid at the back - come with bonnet pins. Slight dent just to one side on the middle line at the front hence - £50. Collection only

Here are the rears - they bolt over the standard arches - so its not too much hacking around - just cut the inner and out arch up, re-weld at a higher point and bolt these on - the easiest way to do a rear wide arch conversion. No need to relocate fuel filler. Perfect if you have rusty rears and fancy a change.

Coilovers and top mounts - coilovers by FK Automotive - 0 miles since removal from Keith Robinson's previous project - he also had the camber adjustment removed from the shocks (see the welded plate) - stops anything slipping around - £225 - Potentially sold

INTERIOR

Pair of OMP seats look like the record 2 in the current range in blue - one excellent the other almost excellent (slight rubbing on outside of helment protection against the b piller of its last car) on stainless frames (attachted to fiesta mk3 subframes if you want them too!) - There seems to be retailing at £250 each without frames, so £400 with frames sounds like a good price.

Here is the slight wear to the side bolster - it either won't be seen (especially if you make the worn bolster go in the inside) or a quick once over with a felt tip will help!!!!

This is a C16XE engine comprising of a Mantzel Power box (will attach to any 16xe) with a Gary (of mig fame) head, Courtney Cams, rebuilt bottom end, protec stainless exhaust, Superchips ECU. Built but never run

Hi,
Had a few questions about the wide arch kit. The fronts are standard mk1 arches but wider – they use the standard mounting points etc. Click the pictures to enlarge.
The rears are a little different – they don’t replace the whole rear quarter panel – mine are much simpler than this and retain the rear strength. They are extentions to the actual arch and clip over the top. Here is a whole arch

These can be bolted/pop-rivets on (as I did) or I guess you can smooth over the mounting holes - but they do fit so well that filler isn’t absolutely necessary – depends if you are going for the rally or street look. See the mounting points here.

And these rear wide arches cover the area shaded in black, below. There short enough that the fuel filler doesn’t have to be relocated – which will save a lot of hasstle. They just sit nicely on the existing bodywork – no mods needed to your rear bumper, etc.

OK, so now we know there easy to attached to the car – what arch mods are needs? You will need to cut the inner and outer archto a higher point and then weld or pop rivet back together (I decided to weld mine). As below, I marked out where to cut and then welded back together, I could have gone higher, but it was my first attempt and didn’t want to go mad. You can take the height of the arch up to the almost the point where the top of the bulge begins – basically you can have the metal part of the arch follow the shape of the wheel .

I choose this kit because its the easiest way to wide arch a Nova, and looks different to all the other kits. Most wide arch kits elongate the arch buldge so it takes up the whole pidth of the rear panel – mine only widens the arch where it already exists.

Have edited post - the bars them selves are not rose jointed, its the brackets and there is a picture under the description. Yes, it does include the alloy blocks needed too. There a nice piece of kit.

Its quite small - sure a filler job will sort it out - you are welcome to come down and take a look and make your mind up then. Bonnet is in SE18 - still on the car - we can remove it together if you take it. Cheers, Phil.
