its a big hole and the splash guard fell off whole, whats better a sr shell or a 1.2 shell as a gsi

SR's a mk1, so if the 1.2 shell's a mk2 then the 1.2 :)

aye that's a mk1 wi mk2 bits but iv got a mk2 1.2 that's very clean and doesn't have a gaping hole in it lol
TBH i'd try and fix the arch as it would be cheaper than byng a new shell.

id just get the grinder and welder on it and save another nova lol
repair it bit of sheet metal good as new u sould the engine bay up at the same time ready for a c20xe
Piss easy to make a new splash guard dude, do it and save yourself the money and hassle of reshelling. Unless it's gone on the chasis rails etc.
Too many Novas are scrapped for what are little jobs in the eyes of other owners (Ford for expample lol) You all say yourselves how few of them are seen on the roads... Don't let it die. FFS I remind myself of Meritlover.

found more crust on her today.
its in the turret type part where the strut goes, it looks OK on the outside but inside there's a bit of channel that's rotten
think a picture will be better lol
