I think that was the one that had no logbook. it is the same one and i am sure it was advertised as a genuine one last time it was on the bay

I think Novasport is right, It was listed before hand as an original nova sport ?? Hmm why put a GSI dash in there !!

i brought this car just under 2 years ago. i have spent lots on its since i have owned it. some of the things i have done since are

full respary new fully adjusabul suspention
new timing belt and water pump.
reconditoned vauxhall alloy whells with new
it is fitted with twin 40 webba carbs. full ashley exhurst.
a gsi interior that is in good condisiton could just do with a clean.
please call me with any qustions

But it seems like theyre delibrately misspelling certain words as some commonly misspelt ones are correct and the ones youd expect to be spelt correctly are wrong, hmmm looks a mess imo and just because its wearing "webba" crabs (lol) dont make it a sport!

yeah it has been on ebay before stating 'orginal sport' and listed brief description about the history of the sport.

i'm sure i clicked 'ask seller a question' and gave bit of stick about why ruin a sport with gsi bits, wheels etc. and weres the irmscher top hat? and then said i have my suspitions about its not a real sport.

needless to say i didnt get reply

Guys, just cos it doesn't have sport bits on, doesn't mean its not a sport ffs! Plenty of sports have been well modded over the years. Only way to confirm is to get the chassis no, and get it checked!

I viewed the car last time it was advertised and the owner told me he didnt have the V5. Considering how much he wanted and the lack of alot of the original bits I walked away.

I would say that it now has a new ID hence advertised as a repilca....

Thwe auction says V5 present.

Wasnt a particulary good shell IIRC and it has a microwave lid in it to....

Due to the fact many dealers struggle to sell em because of the distinct lack of equipment even back then dealers fitted extras to sell hence many have pop up sun roofs.

However IIRC no Sport left the factory with a tilt and retract type roof....

Thats because all of the sunroofs fitted were a dealer option added prior to purchase hence them just being slapped onto a hole cut in the roof rather than the vaux one which obviously is a different roofskin and has the drain pipes fitted down the C pillar!

Trust me I know there are many different roof's, Ive had replacement O.E. skins of both type...

I stated this because I believe a few 'Sports' have had a tilt and slide if you know what I mean.

i no the lad who is sellin it its one of my mates. mates it is a rep an a dodgy one at that so i got told the wirein is a mess an its had a crap spray job. only thing worth anythin is the carbs
