View Full Version : To plough or not to plough
Well, as the south west is rapidly becoming Region Of Plough with both Dan and Floydy having snowplough'd saloons, should I fit one to mine?
I've got one on order from Steve, but I'm unsure as to whether or not to fit it now. Floydy's is plain ploughage, and Dan is fitting foglamps which I was going to do to mine.
Here's mine at the mo - I'd keep the quadlamps, fit a skinny bumper (again with indicators/sidelamps in) and paint black:

As you can see, I like to be different lol
Halp, I'm crap at making decisions at the best of times :(
NO. Also you deserve negative rep mate as I was hoping this was about a new conquest and you had posted here instead of MC :(
Has the plough you've got on order have the round bits for fogs?

plough it, then we can be fatty brothers lol
Matt, no. Its a brand new one from Steve, so I'm in two minds about chopping it to fit lamps...

LMFAO pardon?!
Hmm, what happened to the show us your mrs thread anyway lol
Hmm, not sure I'd like to start chopping a brand new snowplough, you're a brave man! Might look cool though.
Let me know if you fancy selling it on anyway.

Alas it won't be a GM kit. I'm not toooo bothered about how it looks, I prefer functionality over form, but as said I don't want it to look like every other saloon out there.
It needs something at the front, but I think another set of lights is a bit OTT. I'll come back to you.
Also if you were to sell on the 'plough I'd be interested as I was too slow to order one from Durik.
EDIT: Got a GSi bumper you can try, think CG has some speedlines going spare too :p
^ lmfao, don't joke, I did originally intend to mk2 the front with a GSi bumper... lol
Suggestions for foglamps are well received by the way. I was thinking some 5-6" round lamps (had old 180cm lamps on my hatch which gave loads of light) but I'm open to suggestions....
Jack id say still go for it how you want. And mine wont be seen much anyway and dont forget once i do the sport rep yours wont look nothing like mine. so dont have to worry about "looking the same".
well as the south west is becoming a plough region i reckon plough it mate.
i voted plain gte as is. however imo you need to do something with your indicators, they look so wrong

Not a lot I can do, I'm not putting them in the lamps and refuse to have stick-on LED jobbies on the front... mounting them in the bumper is the only real option and those are the best suited ones. They also house the sidelights too

Plough without lamps gets my vote.
Keep it as it is RJ.
Ploughs are over-rated IMO.
