Took this picture of the nova today and am a bit stuck for ideas of what to do next

I was thinking the same thing... Darn Flame/Magma red, it's terrible!

Like the bump strips on the side! not many left on these days...

Ive got sum gsi skirts i was thinking about fitting those but id have to take the bump strips of

I like it as it is, even though it's an essence of pink ;)

The skirts may look quite suitable, and as you said though take the bump strips off.

Leave the strips on and fit the skirts, you only need trim a tiny section out of the rubstrip/trim to fit em snugly:thumb:

i thort about doing that but i dont thing it looks right with strips and skirts IMO

I've seen novas with both strips and skirts before, but maybe thats cos they have the SR grey vinyl on the sides to bring it together?!

I'd do what Dod said, window surrounds,

and paint the front bumper original grey instead of black, I hate black bumpers! :)

Agree with window surrounds, maybe debadge the bonnet but may be apain for a good paint match :(

Otherwise leave it alone, it looks perfect how it is! I love the side strips too, dont see them very often now. Don't go with skirts, they look horrible with the side strip

Loose the strips imo, wait for a hot day and get a 'caramac' wheel from a good body shop supplies place job done. I think they just say poverty spec how ever you dress them up

Na, keep the strips. otherwise it'll look like every other Red Nova with Grey Bumpers.

Smaller mk2 fr bumper & some mudflaps IMO. Original grey not painted satin Black too.

Looks cock on, though window surrounds would improve it further.
