Right here goes i'll write down what has been done to the car now:-

Engine:-
1.4 SRI engine with ported and polised head
Kent high lift cam, with vernier
Ashley exhaust system with de-cat pipe and manifold
Green cotton induction kit
Lightened and balanced flywheel
Arp headbolts

Interior:-
Standard SRI seats and door cards
Blue LED bulbs behind speedo clocks
GM clock

Exterior:-
Roof mounted arieal
New arch panels
o/s drivers door
De-locked
Boot lock removed along with handle and wiper
Colour coded door handles
Brand new gm gsi front bumper
3 spoke alloys refurbed in black set of 5 with centre caps
Tinted windows all round
Full respray in white again
Debaged all round
Lowered 60mm all round


Thats all i can think of at the moment thats been done but theres more to follow when i have some spare time :) But will update as i go.

Yes i have a set of gte sideskirts to go on but im going to get the bumpers and skirts painted same colour as the wheels.

But there is more to come but im still deciding what route to go down.

Yes various different plans but the engine and engine bay and interior are all next. Might leave the engine as a 1.4sri. But when i get free time ill do some work and keep it updated very soon...

I got 89.4bhp when i took the car on the rollers standard. But since i've put the cam and head and all the exhaust on i don't have a clue what it's making now ill see next week if i can get it on the rollers..:thumb:

also if you wanted to paint the wheels white and spray the bumpers and gte skirts rover hurricane grey.....either will look nice

Thanks im not sure what to do with the bumper yet.... The sideskirts im not goin to bother with. I was thinking of doing the bumpers grey rather than black to be honest.

Right it's about time i got my **** into gear and do some more work on the car which is what im doing. I've bought a few things since i last updated this.
I've bought a 2.0L 8v engine, box, shafts, ecu, loom etc which i was going to try and sell but thought sod it ill just put it in the nova for now until i get a redtop.
Bought myself a complete front panel which i will be picking up tommorow so thats got to go on next along with the engine but deciding weather to have a go at putting the panel in myself or getting someone else to do it..
I need to find someone that can weld up my engine bay as i don't think im confident enough to weld it myself.
Should be getting a big brake set up off colin when i get paid this friday.
And going to have to sell my 3 spoke alloys in favour for bigger wheels to get my brakes in there.
But still looking out for other bits aswell going to need a pair of wings next aswell.
But ill get some pictures up of some of the bits i have tommorow but just trying to get some bits for the engine so its ready just to go in straight away before i strip it.
But i will keep it updated as i go along now i have more time to do it :)

Right haven't updated this for a while but here goes
I still have the SRI but have changed it back to standard now but looking to change it back to the SRI it was inside less the back seats. At the moment im trying to find a good set of second hand wings for it to change them as they are rusty at the bottom of them and fit that front panel to it aswell. Im also on the look out for the sri door cards and dash and either a pair of front seats or just a drivers seat to replace my gsi dash and seats. I had an mot done on it about a week ago and only failed on front shock leaking fluid and rear wheel bearing slightly loose so thought that was a result for a k reg car so got to replace the shock and sort the bearing out. I just generally want to tidy it up and keep it a 1.4 as they are hard to get anymore i may even put the vinyl back on the door pillars and do the bottom in grey again. I deciding weather to leave the gsi front bumper on on replace it with a standard mk2 front bumper. I will put some pictures up of the car as it is now when im back off holiday and also when i start doing some work just hope weather stays nice so i can get a bit done :)


Well second off i also have bought another nova now which there are pictures of it on the pvs show reports but i will get some pictures of it up at the same time. But it's a B reg sr turbo which i had for a week and the pistons melted :( which the car has been in the garage getting repaired for 3 weeks, well iv'e put cosworth pistons and uprated con rods in it to with arp con rod bolts, a second hand coscast head with 1 piece stainless valves. I will give you a run down on what's been done to it:-

Engine:-
Cosworth piston's with uprated con rods and arp con rod bolts
Coscast head with 1 piece stainless valves and uprated lifters
Piper high lift cams with pulleys
Knife edged crank lightened and balanced
F28 gearbox with LSD and uprated shafts but not sure if there equal length
Uprated clutch
FSE fuel pressure regulator
Uprated actuator
Astra GSI boost solinoid mounted by turbo
Mocal 19 row oil cooler kit
Alloy bottom pulley
Solid engine mounts
3 bar map sensor
Wasted spark system
Custom made 2.5" power flow exhaust system
Front mount intercooler and 2.5" boost pipes with 3" top hat
Emerald management system
Custom made motorsport wiring loom
Baileys header tank
Polished rocker cover and spark plug cover
Custom made tie bar lowering brackets
Fully seam welded and all harry hockley plates fitted
Screen wash bottle loctaed next to heater motor

Aluminium fuel tank powder coated in black mounted where back seats where
Fire extinguisher mounted in front
New fuel lines run inside car with urprated walbro fuel pump
Race spec fire extinguisher kit behind drivers seat with 1 outlet at the tank and 2 on the fuel rail
Carbon fibre on front doors, rear quaters, boot panel
Boost gauge mounted next to speedo and oil pressure gauge the other side
Battery located in the boot with aluminium holder

If there is anything else i may have forgot ill add it. But plans with the turbo is run the engine in and get it remapped, maybe remount intercooler behind bumper and change wheels to cesaro's. But still think what else to do to it at the moment.

Just deciding on the wheels and bumpers, i have a set of cesaro's im unsure weather to fit them and paint them either grey or black? And was thinking about the bumpers aswell weather to paint them grey or black to break down the white a bit? what do you guys think?

iirc was on pistonheads for 6k :eek: but does look very niceeeeeeeeeee

Yes was on pistonheads i paid 6.5k for it but with in the 1st week of owning it the pistons melted :cry: so had the engine rebuilt again just finished running it in so got to get it mapped this week and change the oil again. It is one of the best novas i've owned.
