http://www.pngclub.com/forum/DA CAR 028heres my saloon, had it for jus over 2 years, slowly doin bits to it as and when i could. its got a 1.4 sr engine that has a 1.6 head, piper cam, piper adj vernier, diesel valve springs, lightened and balanced bottom end, the head has been skimmed, ported and polished. K and N filter with larger jets in the carb. janspeed 4 branch and system samco hoses, alloy header tank,on a f10 5 speed box with quick shift linkage but am on the look out for a f13 cr.
car has been polybushed right through with apex sport front shocks and gmax 60 ml springs and gmax rear shocks. front upper and lower strut braces, rear strut brace and front and rear anti roll bars.
has gsi front calipers with standard disks, omp front pads. the rear brakes are standard.
has 2.5 turn quick rack.
its sat on 6x14 artec alloys with 175/50x14 pirelli p6000 tyres.
the shell started out life as 1990 1.0. ive welded up all the rusty areas, and then fully wax oiled the under side and inner archs.
it will end up with early sr front bumper with snow plough and late spec rear bumper.
it has burberry interior with early sr clocks with orange needles and half roll cage.
probably missed a few things out but here are some pics, would be good to get some comments back, good or bad!!http://DA CAR 011http://www.pngclub.com/forum/DA%20CAR%20013http://www.pngclub.com/forum/DA%20CAR%20024http://www.pngclub.com/forum/DA%20CAR%20027http://www.pngclub.com/forum/DA CAR 028http://www.photobucket.com/floydy13go to link www.photobucket.com/floydy13

Tidy looking car. Is it flame red?

If you find a F13CR, fit the F.D. from the F10 for better acceleration ;)

As previously said, I like the wheels choice. Ability to go uber low with the euro look with those. Tidy looking car. :)

bit of both really! still needs a few jobs doin here and there before i get it set up on the rolling road. ive only been up and down the by pass a couple of times to see what happens. not sure how much bhp to expect from this engine, would be well happy with around 100 mark?

managed to get the car out of the garage today and took it to my mates body shop for a flatten and polish as this had not been done since the respray.
ive added pics to my photo bucket link....
found out today the colour is flame red and looks loads better now!!
have got a few jobs to get on with now, gotta fit a oil catch tank, central locking, wire up the stereo, put the door cards back on, fit center console and under dash tray, plus a few more until im happy!!
