top mounts info?

hi guys im going to order some eccentric top mounts off rally design,is the any mods that need to be donev im running gaz coilovers aswell,ive herd people having to get the top mounts ground down(dont know what part) to get them to fit properly but i might be wrong,any help appriciated:thumb:

The mounts will come with 4 collars for the bearing (top & bottom for each side). You will need to get them drilled out to slide over you piston on the damper.

You can bolt the mounts straight on but you will have no adjustment.

On my old red turbo I just hammered back the lip as to where I wanted them to sit. On my new nova tho I took to it with a file (much better imo).

For most application you want them to sit inwards and back ie so they point towards the middle wiper spindle like so...

Lots of useful info from when I asked about eccentric topmounts on Gaz coilovers. I ended up fitting the topmount directly on the spring platform, using one insert and cutting some of the bonnet away to get the clearance for the amount of piston poking through.
