rev counter -wire

i fitted a aftermarket rev counter in my 1.2l nova i have all the wires connected up except the green 1 it is supposed to connect to the NEGITAVE on the coil. WHERE ABOUTS IS THE NEGITAVE ON THE COIL? THANKS.:)

either side of the ht lead ont he coil there are 2 terminals, a positive and a negative, they should be marked

on my coil there are 4 pins, 3 were used up so only left one, think it was the bottom right nearest the headlight. we only ran one wire not sure if your running two.

ya my coil is the same did u run the wire from the pin that was not used?

i connected the wire to the black wire comming out of the coil. the rev counter works but it is very inacurate it struggles to go up or down when i rev it. is it connected to the right wire?http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/pp297/jonny057/opelcorsacoil001.jpg

As you look at the plug on the coil from the angle in that pic, you want the bottom right pin for the rev counter signal bud, tis the only one that isnt used as std:thumb:
