putting your fuel pump relay on your mantlepiece each when you are in home does the trick....
wiring a latching relay to the interior light switches then on to a twin horn hooter mounted inside the car is pretty effective as well. they couldn't drive off with that going on...
also a pir floodlamp & a warning siren inside your house is quite good.
those argos shed alarms make some huge noise & are triggered off a broken wire connection, so you could string up a wire round the saloon on posts so when they approach it, it raises hell

I like youre thinking, its like ste`s old valver when they stole that and tried to bump it off down the street, you cant bump off a car with bits like the ecu missing:thumb:

Why dont you just De-lock your doors, stops them using there flat blade as a key.
Just get a Decent/loud alarm and imob, poppers everywhere, steering lock, parked really close to the house with your AK47, under the bed ready to go.
I have, in the past, not taken the steering wheel off but taken the nut off then put the cover back on, can you imagine going round a corner and the steering wheel coming off lol :p
If it's like most Novas the wheel will stay on lol

mine was loose lol

Thats fine until they try to bump it, wheel comes off and it rolls down the road into the nearest fence/car/lamp post lol
To be honest, even if the standard locks were still in place I wouldn't go in that way. Its not hard to get into a Nova if you spend a few minutes thinking about it and playing about bending things. Best option is to remove all valuables from inside, immobilise the engine and fit a decent (loud lol) alarm.
Then it's not a proper Nova lol Ratchet strap onto the cage and mine still wouldn't move!

Like Road Angels, oh wait they done that for me :(

TBH, said keyboard gangsters wouldnt do sheet. Ive had a few cars stolen in pure silence. Some of the exhausts that were on them were uber loud at full chat!

Mike, have you had your hearing checked? :p
I wake up if someone touches my car, by that time my girlfriends dad is already looking out of the window, that man is like a hawk.
But can I wake up when the girlfriend is telling me to get up, can I bollox ;) .

An ex of mine years ago has her mk2 astra twocced an it had a snapped exhaust on it, they probably knew it was snapped and pushed it down the street as not even the neighbours heard anything, they are clever and if they want it they will research it if its needed for a purpose or parts rather than "joyriders" who will just take whats left unattended imo.
Snap-off steering wheel, loud alarm, immobiliser, secured tenfoot/drive/garage.
Aint much more you can do really as if theyre determinned they will usually get what theyre after!

Quite often find people have seen cars from forums such as this and thought "hmm thats nice" or "hmm thats local" and read the WIPs/threads/features etc and gone for a twoc
Tis the easiest source of "shopping" info if you ask me, now that everyone and his dog is internet-literate.
And we help them out so much by carefully detailing all of the mods and ice and security we fit to our toys, i think mike has the right idea by posting his w.i.p. in the club section tbh:thumb:
That's why you stay quiet on key facts and maybe big other things up that you don't always have! Cat 1 etc lol
I remember when a mint RS500 went missing from around here one night, dragged off the guys drive by a recovery truck :( Had x2 wheel clamps IIRC as well as snap-off boss, Cat 1 etc etc. It woke him up but they were away, never to be seen again! All that was left was yellow paint on the road!
