right here goes guys
i will do this,
basical got the carlton and the radio needs a make over.
grand to spend.
so tell me what will sound good,
dont wanna cut speaker holes in door cards,
so 4 circler speakers,
2 subs
nice head unit
and woteva amps i need.
i want decent bass,
the kinda thing that will wake the street up on the lowest setting!
i know jack shit about ICE,so will get it installed porfessional.
so what do i need,price watts etc plz

best thing to do mate...

get a couple of 10" subs... buy some MDF, glue, carpeting, whatever else you need and make your own boxes. That way you can design it whatever way you want.
When building my install I used 2x 10" Pioneer's, put them into boxes that were 1cubic ft... they were MEGA air tight... used a wee (?120) 2x200W RM amp to power them and a set of 6x9s powered from the head unit.

This was fucking loud, nearly blew the tailgate off the rear. This will probably only cost about ?300-?350 AT THE MOST(!!) You'd get a class head unit for bout ?300-?400 leaving you with bout ?300 left over to do what you want! :D
