1.4 or 1.6 corsa engines

hey, any ideas roughly how much a 1.4 or 1.6 corsa B engine would cost? and would i have to replace the gearbox in my nova if i fitted one of these? if so roughly how much would a gearbox set me back? thanx :) basically i wanted to do an engine conversion from a mk ll 1.2 nova spin, to a 1.4 or 1.6 corsa B engine and corsa engines are newer and easier to find i think :D thanks again

The 1.2 box wont fit the 1.4/1.6 corsa engine as the fly is too big.

Usually cost about £200 for a 1.4/1.6 16v

yes, get a quote before carrying the work out.

Ive got a 1.6 16v Astra Engine for sale, £175! :thumb:

if your doing the 1.6 try and get a decent gsi one as it doesnt have the imobiliser. if its the x16xe you will need to get the loom transponder and the chip in the key.
