hi been bugging me for ages i need new rubber for my sunroof not too sure if its a standard one or not,

it looks like this

and do they still stock the rubber if so does anyone have a part number?

I dont think it is, although I have the exact same item in one of My Novas...

yea ive been told its a aftermarket one but ive seen a cupple with the same sunroof

look in your local yellow pages under sunroof, or if you know the original sale dealership, they might be able to help

does the glass have any makers marks???

markings, made by the people that made it. I.E if it was standard it'd have GM on it, if it isn't it'll have Shonky Sunroofs Inc etc on it lol

a nova i had about six months ago had exact same sunroof by looks and that was deff an after market one, as had receipt for fetting etc.

Mine has, what looks to be, the exact same sunroof, grab handle type you push up I guess.

AFAIK its aftermarket and mine was made by Solarsport (thats what it says on the original brochure / leaflet I have at home).

You're gona have to have a look around see if you can get one for it. If it was a Factory fit tilt slide by vauxhall then you'd need full new glass to get the rubber seals lol expensive!

My nova has the same sunroof. mine is a factory fitted one from GM.

iirc they were the optional sunroof that you could have fitted , to shell that obv didnt have the tilit and slide roof in

was going to say my mate had that same sun roof in his nova and that was a gm part!!

Do what everyone else does then and silicone seal it shut as its much cheaper if it leaks, i had one like that years back aswell was a brittax one iirc they did alsorts in the 80`s for car from booster seats to err sunroofs you could maybe see if theyre still around and or making the same types of roofs!

Has the old rubber perished, hence the leak. Or has it shrunk?

my old white SRI had the same style sunroof in it too...

the car is in work ill look monday for the makers mark :) the rubber has come away at the corners

Tell you what, if Burgo Re Roofs one of my Novas, you can have my old one.
