On a standard engine?
Pointless, the original regulator is fine. a FSE regulator will just mess with something that doesnt need to be messed with

was thinking of fitting one to try and get rid of some flat spots low revs.

The engine shouldn't have flat spots, so work on sorting them out :)

Any fault codes stored? Is the engine standard?

you wire it up to the ecu light on the dash and when you insert the paper clip it flashes the codes out on the dash. look in articles :thumb:
