The Simps

Nova disc converted rear beam using 16v astra stuff.

Beam was placed on a jig and made sure it was 100% true. Recently fitted calipers which had had new seal kits fitted not long back. All painted up lovely in black, calipers red. Modified to run an astra GSI handbrake cable.

Pics to follow shortly.

Using this guide (not included, easy to make, can give measurements) which then slides into the holder under the car in the tunnel...

Beam was originally purchased a few years back off a trusted friend to go onto my red nova turbo. Never actually made it onto the car tho due to time to swap and then eventually selling the car.

How do you set them up, do u run one line to the rear/two?

Do you need a compensator valve?

anything else?

The Simps

Will depend on the servo/MC setup you are using.

The nova MC has 2 outlets for the rear so you would run 2 as normal. All you need to do is make 2 brake lines from the caliper to the existing flexi's on your original beam.

If you are using a corsa MC which only has 2 outputs (1 front, 1 rear) you would normally run one line to the rear and a splitter.

Some run compensators, some find it fine without.

some say if you use the nova mc the rear locks up quite easy, so do u need a compensator?

as said, some do some don't. I believe Benn had been running his fine without. You can fit compensators off astra's to help.

70 smackers,
also has it been used on a nova and tested

was running on a friends of Benn's off here but I havn't ever ran it as I sold the car and am now 5 stud.

£70 is way too low tho mate, would rather keep it as it will come in handy at some point.
