Ate are a make, they make brake parts and most vauxhalls will have ate made calipars.

The type that 90's on vauxhalls have. With a spring clip on the front of the caliper.
The older style are Delco, which have two pins holding the pads in, and are utter t*ss.

there are 2 common types of ate calipers

256mm diameter from cav, cally & vectra & 236mm diameter from astra mk3 (which fits as a direct replacement for gte/gsi vented calipers)
