What wheels for my SR?

Hey guys, i have a a 1300 SR nova. Currently got astra gte wheels on it - just wondering what other types of wheels i could put on it really, i want it to look standard (Bodywork and everything) so i'm just wondering what sorta options i could go for with my wheels! I.e. standard SR ones? Or are there others i could go with? Pictures would help thanks :thumb:

I have some 6j 14" steel rims & 185/60r14 tyres in the sr style, I'll get a photo up tomorrow if you are interested. they are basically stock looking, but bigger

Aye, either some 14" SR steel rims or the 3 spoke GTE/GSi ones :)

Or even better a set of 14"/15" White Revo RFX's

14" SRi Steels all the way, them or as said GTE 3 Spokes.

You need something period IMO, I am fitting Astra 5.5Jx13 steels to my A reg SR with the original centre caps. Just hope I can get some decent brakes under them.
Might be worth getting some 14" steels(As they are easier to find) in the same triangle sectioned design and putting the original type centre caps on.

Will corsa b 236mm vented brakes go under them 13" steels ?

14" Steels will fit over 16v Cav ATEs.

They are 15", I had a new set of Irmscher ones like them that I sold for £300, god why do we do these stupid things:(

Was hoping I could get valvers under at a push if I am running an XE but will have to try. I know they will go under a 13" motorsport RFX but I think the clearances & offset are totally different. Will try one on the Sport when the hubs are built up, if not I may have to see what 4 pots may work but thats a long way off.

These were Irmscher rims in anthracite(Mine were black) on Andy Hills old valver, he got them new & silly cheap from the local Vaux dealer where he worked when they were clearing stock out.

Not too hard to replicate using some Cav Expression rims & look mint on a white early SR.

Revo RFX's are a good choice but are getting like rocking horse poo, especially in unrallied(Not bent) condition.

tsw venoms are so 90's i dont know about pheonix like. i used to like venoms but imo they went out off fashion with kappa track suits and curtains!!!

Im glad you said that, used to say cars with those gash wheels on had "venomitis" back in the nineties lol

Although i breifly had a 2ltr 8v cav hatch in silver a couple of years back and the lad i sold it to put venoms on it and i dont know if it were because theyre now kinda old skool but they didnt look too bad in all honesty:eek:
