Chat not working please help

Its really annoying me, never been able to get on chat (apart from when i first ever installed the stuff needed).

Anytime i try i get this error;

Looks like it doesnt like my name or somthing, but i cant work out how to change anything. Looked through the help on the irc site but just more confused than before lol

Anyone know what they are doing with this chat thing?

dunno mine works. cant be a java problem cause its loaded the client

got the latest .net framework??

try /nick <newname> then click connect

Just comes up with 'Not connected' :(

Whats the .net frame network?
