The time has come for me to sell my Nova!! I have owned the car since March 1999 In that time the car has been through many changes...
The car as it stands was last used as a track weapon. This was mainly built Lee303 fame and myself back in 2004. Since then i have done around 5-6 track days, unfortunately it has sat in storage for the last 2 years. (Starting the engine every now and then)
I will either sell the car complete or will break it, depending on interest.
The car has no tax or Mot as all these ran out 3 years ago. The car is sorn of the road, so you could tax mot etc
The car is in Ruislip HA4
The car was an original a SR model. But now has a tuned 1.6 16v engine fitted.
The Engine was rebuilt by lee303 (Just see his thread for quality of work). All new engine parts were sourced and fitted.
Engine spec
Grind the crack; bore the block, new standard pistons, Dowell flywheel, lightened flywheel, new end bearings, new main bearings, ARP rod bolts, new water pump, new oil pump, head set, and timing belt, blue injectors
F13 Gearbox
The head has been felted slightly by Lee with a little bit of a polish
Novatech supplied the throttle bodies, these work just as good as the likes of Jenvey!! It is fitted with Omex OEM 500.
This was fully mapped and set up by Steve at Track and Road with a power read out of 153BHP.
I will sell the engine complete. £800
I also have the following parts to add to this
Mocal 13 row oil cooler (all pipes and sandwich plate) £100
BTB manifold (all wrapped up) £200
Full power flow exhaust to mate to manifold £200
Blue oil catch tank £30
Fuel reg and gauge £30
Ideally it would be nice for all the engine parts to go together.
All these parts are still fitted to the car; the engine will be the first thing to come off as I would like the person who buys it to see it running etc. Nothing on the car will be sold until the enging is sold..
I will be very sad to see this go as I have had many good years’ fun building the car and using it.
