CGs thread isn't EPAS tho.
From what I understand it bolts straight onto your steering rack, you will need to modify your column mounts slightly, you won't be able to refit the standard couling and you need a speed sensor for it to work properly. You can buy a special kit that controls the speed side and iirc is around £200 but I remember reading somewhere you can use the speed signal off a digidash transducer.
As you said tho, need t find someone who's done it.

I didn't do any welding to physically mount the epas. I used a hefty L shaped profile piece of steel bolted to the bulkhead just behind the battery running horizontally, it then bolted to part of the prake pedal box assembly. The EPAS motor bracket was bent round to bolt on to this. The normal nova rack mounts were used to bolt the corsa rack to nearer the steering wheel end, using slightly longer bolts and about a 1/2" aluminium spacer just brings it to the right height. I ended up not using the steering rack lock at all, as the ignition barrell mounts differently on a corsa. With a bit more time and effort i'm sure it's possible. Don't know what others have done to get round this but you probably keep quiet if you remove your steering lock. I should of taken some pictures really.
Any more queries just ask.
