Squares A and B are the same shade of grey :tard::eek:

I actually downloaded and checked it on Photoshop.

Thats probably best optical illusion I've ever seen.

i saw this one the other day, didnt believe it so i used paint and cut out each square and compared them to eachother lol it was amazing

Do the squares A and B look the same shade of grey to you? or does A look significantly darker than B?

But it's actually the same shade of grey :eek: Save the image, open in paint and cut out a portion of either A or B and move it across :thumb:

if you move it slow you see it changes shade. in there current position they are different not the same. move it over some of the other lighter squares and it doesnt match :D its all effected by the light and shadows.

Pardon? lol Its called an optical illusion for a reason :p

Square A is surrounded by light squares so it looks darker. Square B is surrounded by dark squares so looks lighter. Your brain recognises that, due to the pattern, square B should be lighter than square A so makes you think it is.

Good one. If you blurr your vision you can see the same shades.

There are some optical illusion pics which really make you sh it bricks, ones that can't really be explained!

I can never see them either. When I was a kid I was convinced it was people playing jokes on me as everyone else could see them but all I could see was squiggly lines :(
