4 door WIP

seeing as i now have 15 posts and nothing better to do i thought i should start a project thread so...here is my 4 door saloon. i wasnt initally looking for a saloon but you can't argue when it comes for free can you. besides it's begining to grow on me...i think!

it started life as a 1.0 trip, i have since put a c14se on a weber 32/34 in and a 5 speed box, however it wont start at the moment due to wiring isues with the coil/dizzy:roll:.

plans are to compete in club motorsport events such as autotests and road rallys, but unfortunatly as i'm a student, it has to be done on a fairley tight budget.
will post some more recent pics when i have the camera.

mmm does look clean good start. i have a 2 door saloon that started off life as a 1.0L and have put a 1.4 in it, had some issues my self wiring up the engine. on the 1.0 there is 3 wires to the starter but on the 1.4 there is 2. im not sure which one you need but one of them has to go over to the coil/amplifier. on your distributer has it got a 2 pin plug or a 3?
