i've seen in the flesh and the work is top notch (looked even better towing a stripped mk2 golf...) anyways, do it and do it properly, and you wont regret it

I believe they ruin the handling due to the offset issues because your moving the centre of the wheel, check John H's WIP in that he complains of the drive being unpleasant, and I'm not sure if the Count still has a set for sale if your still interested

But the offset of the center does change. the banding bit is added to the front of the rim to make it wider.
