i sold the engine to him with 100,000 on the clock its not chipped and the omp exhaust was fitted and used. and i can garuntee that its not had lifters and a water pump.

the guide that its got with it is the 1 i gave to him off here. never been in his nova as its still on the pallat the way i put it on!!!

needs a v pulley and a differebt alt pulley as i used them for the LET.

and the gbox whines like funk crunches in every gear and leaks oil.

Always see clear rears on there that get bidded up to about 30-40 quid when you can get them for 50 new! lol

thought Xe's were suppose to be getting cheaper.

My dad picked one up off eGay for the measily some of 170 quid.

With practically everything from under the bonnet...including the Astra GSI shafts he bung back on ebay and got 50odd quid for.

XE for a shade over a tonne....cant complain.

They do still sell for ~£300-400, I've seen them selling for that. Plus, that one has an exhaust. Still, its missing two cylinders and 2 camshafts :p

Link? I thought that, and you used to be able to get them new for that price, but not any more. Cheapest new ones I found were £99.
