drivers side central locking solenoid

i replaced it with a 5wire one off ebay for a few quid, then its peace of mind thats it brand new ;)

how was that i only got 3 wires going to it?

what do the 5 wires do though?

recieves the signals from the drivers door and for boot or rear doors since its an after market one. i have one in my calibra out a nova that you can try.
