/grinding noise . . .

when i brake, comin from the back i think .. the same kind of noise you get when the front pads have lost all the friction material and are grinding metal on metal with the discs.

I just recently put both new hand brake cables on and 2 new cylinders and i lost one the shoe retainin pin-spring-cap combination when i was doin it all so i had to put a new one of them on.

Any ideas what the noise could be before i go dismantling again?

Does this happen for the first few times u brake or all the time?
it happens alot in wet/damp weather, its could just the pads cleaning the discs! happens 2 me alot, for the first, say, 2-4 times i break!
