how cold was that day. good turn out and raised £400 for christies hospital. we should do it again for a worthy cause. think it really showed people that we aren't idiots and will do our bit for charity

Very cold mate , was a good day though , i had to rush back all of 3 miles though as i went away that afternoon haha

mark beesons nova, is one of my favourite novas ever, its got a let in these days.

Yeah Beastie still has his, it's not been out in ages but from what I hear it'll be around in 2009 again.

Thats a nice blast from the past Riggy! Sure I have that mag somewhere..... Phil lofthouse's motor is still as spanking as ever and Ive heard he may be attending a show or two this year. The figures on martin hills motor looked a bit high considering that was the first 16v motor in there and not the later high spec'd one thats now in my car... Id be very happy to see 200bhp from that never mind a standard 16v! :)

in all the years i used this site ive not seen him post anything on here but there are pics from a while back that he has put up.
type j2ltb in youtube and theres a video of it going round the ring, comes flying over a crest of a hill his passenger shouts 150 and the back end of the car twitches out, ace video.

Did they used to play about with the Fuel Pumps back in the day ?

I know with the older lorries you can play about with the Fuel Pump and increase the BHP - Not too reliable but some still work fine

No, that's a trick of Diesal engines, if you screw up the pump on a 1.7TD cavalier it gives it more power.
