heater matrix

had the let out last nite but it keeps bursting the hose onto the matrix. i have cut it back a bit. does anybody have any pics of how far they cut it back?:thumb:

Cut it back as far as you can.

Or bend it down slightly....

thought about bending it down thought it might split though!

Ive seen them done like that before.
Personally i wouldn't do it, because id expect it start leaking lol

yeah i want it tidy. but as ive got the engine in makes it slightly auckward. has anybody got any pics?

Take the matrix out, cat it right back and clamp a hose on it so that the hose clip is inside the car.

Widen the hole in the bulkhead slight and thread the heater hose out from inside the car. Might wanna put a rubber grommit around the hole so it doesnt puncture the hose.

Then put it all back and should be fine

look at joffs wip thread he used a metal tap/ water hose from screwfix
