View Full Version : Fuel Regulator...
Fuel Rail Regulator Adapter.
Goes in place of the standard bosch regulator on the 2ltr XE/LET engines. Supose to up the fuel pressure.
Anybody brought 1 of these or know of them?
Worth fitting or...?

what is wrong with your OE regulator?
why would you want to 'up' the fuel pressure?
Nothing is wrong with mine, just been looking at them. Thought it might work better with my bigger cams, valves and port n polishing.

only if its running lean across the entire fuel map. which i doubt.
fitting one may improve a specific 'sweet spot' on the map if setup properly on a dyno and AFR meter. but over fuel the rest of it. so gains are negligable.
good for the spec sheet though

Ive only just finished building my engine up, bolted it back in tonight and it should be running tomorrow so i dont know how its going to run yet. Do you know anywhere around the midlands that i could get a decent set up?

its best to run it with the OE regulator until your happy its running right, otherwise you could be chasing your tail for ever looking for problems caused by faulty, or poorly setup aftermarket gear.
