Ive got a Nove GTE and im turning it into a track car. I want to take the sunroof out because its a heavy lump that i dont need.

Has anyone took 1 out before? What did you do with the hole then? Got any suggestions?

Cheers! :thumb:

if its a genuine gte one, it'll be a wind back jobby.

common thing is remov the roof linig and sunroof then plat up with some ally plate and seal and rivet in place

i removed my sunroof and replaced it with the side of a vivaro van that was smashed up and bonded and riveted it on

Get yourself down to a local scrappy and chop your self a section of roof off a non-sunroof Nova, about 10 - 15mm wider (on each side) then just tack / bond / rivet it on, thats what i'm gonna do with my Autograss car.

Dave Marshalls is done very well but think it was a bit of a pain to do. I think Chris gsi gave him a hand with it so ask him.

daves roof is good but he has said he still might do the same as me
