im thinking of buying a corsa a sport and the only problem is that it just turns over and wont start (not getting any fuel) and also the fuel gauge doesnt work, the fuel pump has been changed and its no different. could it be somethink so simple like a fuse for the pump and sender unit i no these engines have endless sensors aswell lol, thanks. any help appreciated :thumb:

just seems abit of a coincidence that its getting no fuel and the fuel guage is saying it has no fuel

the fuel seder unit is part of the pump if i remeber correctly so if it was to be a fuse then the fuel pump and gauge isnt going to work????????

Is it a Corsa B Sport(1.4/1.6 16v), or a Corsa A Sport(Nova sport, 1.3 t40s) ?

Does the ecu light flash when you turn the ignition on? Or does it stay on?

im sure the fuel gauge is on the instrument fuse (separate from fuel pump) despite being part of the same assembly.

claims of just not getting fuel are dubious. i would suggest you squirt the fuel rail just to make sure. its pretty obvious when a pump doesnt work as it primes for 3 secs when the ign is turned on. so youd hear it. if you dont its the fuse, the pump, the relay, the wiring or the earth.

the sensors are reasonably straight forward.
