looking to sell my engine from my GSI as an xe is falling in over the winter,

if its not worth decent money ill use it when i build a track car.

got rebuilt in march 2008 around 10,000 miles ago, which consisted of rings, big ends, mains, all seals and gaskets, water pump, head skimmed, valv stem oil seals, belts obviously and clutch with photos to prove and a few receipts.

would sell complete with ecu,loom,shafts,box,4 branch manifold and all ancilaries.

goes well for a 1.6 and has no running problems at all.

as title says how much is it worth? seriously, and i know its only worth what someone is willing to pay fot it but stil............?

pics
now has a chrome/polished rocker cover.

stick it in the for sale section with a BASE of 250-300 and see what happens.

£250 is good XE money, doesn't matter if its "fresh" as there's no replacement for displacement.

I'd say £100 tops. Shonky 1600s go for £50

If you want to put another 1600 in and don't want to spend all the money on converting to an XE and messing with wires, then £250 - £300 aint bad, if its a good one.
